These terms and conditions apply to the use of The Bath Greenhouse website and, by accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should not access this website. If you have any questions, please email maria@thebathgreenhouse.com or call us on 07786 668278 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, before placing an order. 

HAZARDOUS PLANT MATERIAL WARNING 

Bouquets, arrangements and bunches are for decorative purposes only. Some flowers and plants may be harmful or poisonous. In particular, your arrangement may contain foxgloves or lily of the valley, which are poisonous and toxic if eaten, and lilies which can be extremely toxic to cats. Flowers, foliage and any materials supplied should not be eaten. Contact with children and animals should be avoided. Some flowers and foliage may cause skin or eye irritation. Please handle flowers and foliage with care and wash your hands thoroughly immediately after handling and before eating or drinking.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS 

All products are based on the availability of items in our cutting gardens. Occasionally, orders may have to be made up with products of equal quality and value from other flower suppliers. Photographs of our products on the website are provided to give you a sense of the style and size only. Flowers are picked freshly depending on availability in our cutting gardens so when delivered may not necessarily match the images provided. The image provided does not form part of the description of the product.

Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

DELIVERIES 

Orders must be received by 9am on the day before delivery. In the event of delivery failure, we will offer the option of a full refund or a replacement consignment on another delivery date. We will not be responsible for flowers or any other product affected by the recipient not being available to sign for a delivery.

There are no deliveries on Sundays, Bank Holidays and the day following a Bank Holiday. Fresh flowers delivery is to the Bath area only within 10 miles of BA1 7HB. The delivery charge is £5.95.

The full address and postcode, a contact number and the name of the recipient should be provided in addition to the postal address, email and daytime contact number of the person ordering.

If there is a delay to your delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Where no-one is available at the delivery address, we will try to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place and leave a calling card in the intended recipient’s door.

Where deliveries are delivered to a third party such as offices, hospitals, hotels etc. the signature of any person authorised to accept deliveries on behalf of the organisation will be considered accepted proof of delivery.  We cannot be held responsible if that person then fails to deliver to the correct person.

Whilst we agree to ensure delivery on the agreed delivery date, we cannot guarantee a specific time.

Where goods have been correctly delivered to a specified address, we cannot be held responsible if the intended recipient has moved or lives elsewhere and the actual recipient refuses or fails to return goods to us.

In the instance of the recipient not being available we reserve the right to contact the intended recipient via the details supplied by you at the time of placing your order.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

We are able to amend or cancel your order up to 12 noon on the day before the scheduled delivery date you requested. We are unable to offer a refund for flowers after this time.

FLOWER CARE

Floral products use fresh plant materials. If properly cared for on receipt they should last for approximately five days.

Re-cut the stems of the flowers every few days to remove blocked and sealed stem ends. Give the flowers fresh cool water replacing every few days. Keeping the flowers in a cool place and away from fresh fruit will help them last longer.

COMPLAINTS

In the event of any flowers damaged in transit, we will offer a replacement of equal value.  Any complaints must be made within 24 hours of items being delivered by contacting maria@thebathgreenhouse.com or by telephone at 07786 668278 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. 

WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS

All places on workshops must be paid for in full at the time of booking. The Bath Greenhouse will provide joining instructions to attendees at least ten days before each workshop.

Participants may cancel at any time up to seven days before the workshop date and transfer to another available workshop or transfer the place to another attendee. Where a cancellation cannot be made more than seven days in advance The Bath Greenhouse reserves the right to deduct any expenses incurred.

The cancellation policy for the Christmas Wreath Workshop is an exception to the above terms and conditions. There is no refund for a cancellation made at any time leading up to the event although we are able to transfer the place to another attendee or provide a Christmas Wreath Kit which can be collected from The Bath Greenhouse.

If a workshop is cancelled by The Bath Greenhouse all participants will be provided with a full refund or the opportunity to book a place on another available course. Attendees to the workshops must advise the Bath Greenhouse of any dietary requirements and/or allergies. Food may be prepared on or off the premises where allergens might be present.

Gift Vouchers

The voucher is valid for twelve months and cannot be extended beyond the expiry date.

The voucher is subject to the standard terms and conditions as stated by The Bath Greenhouse.

Vouchers are only redeemable directly with The Bath Greenhouse.

The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor is it refundable or transferable.

Flowers or workshops exchanged against a voucher must be pre-ordered and are subject to availability.

The voucher will be surrendered on redemption.

If you would like to make a purchase that is worth more than your voucher amount, the redeemer will be required to pay the difference using a current payment method.

If the voucher is worth more than a gift of flowers or a workshop of your choice the difference will not be refunded but may be applied to a future order within a twelve month period.

The Bath Greenhouse reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
