About Us

The Bath Greenhouse, founded by Maria and Jeremy, is guided by and flows with the rhythm of the seasons to create a romantic haven of British cut flowers. Our style is inspired by the gardens themselves, the countryside around us, and the natural beauty which sits at the heart of the flowers that we grow.

Maria inherited her passion for growing flowers from her mother who had always been an avid gardener. After a busy career in corporate education and raising a family, Maria took a sabbatical to study horticulture and floristry and in 2020 was able to devote herself to her long held dream to grow, design and teach using seasonal, scented British flowers. Jeremy, formerly a Chartered Engineer, is the steady hand, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Our business was initially established in a small garden greenhouse which has been at the heart of nearly everything we have grown for more than a decade and from which it has burgeoned into the cutting gardens and flower meadow of today. We now feel extremely fortunate to operate from a two-acre site, formerly part of a much larger farm complex, which housed an apple store and orchard, nestling at the foot of Solsbury Hill, Bath.

If, like us, you have an appreciation for effortless beauty and value ethically and locally grown, seasonal cut flowers, we are sure you would enjoy spending some time relaxing and unwinding in our peaceful and restorative setting.

Thank you for reading our story and we look forward to welcoming you at The Bath Greenhouse soon.
